The Value of Inclusion
What does learning together with a child who has a disability mean for the other children?
Learning with diverse peers nurtures compassion, the ability to accept human differences naturally, mutual help, and exposure to diverse ways of thinking—as much research and many international bodies show. Rather than just "doing for" someone, it's a relationship in which the children themselves learn and are enriched by being together.
