In trouble between children, is it okay to correct a child even if they have a disability?

Dangerous things and hurting others may be told "no" regardless of disability. But rather than scolding strongly and emotionally, tell them calmly and briefly, in a form that child can understand. For situations you're unsure about, prioritize safety on the spot and share with the teacher afterward for an appropriate response.

For a child, you could say (to the other child): "Let's stop dangerous things"—short and kind.
