Handling Unwanted Actions

If I'm hit or something unpleasant is done to me, is it okay to tell the teacher?

State clearly that, regardless of disability, if something unpleasant or scary is done to you, it's okay to tell an adult. Teach that it's for safety, not "tattling."

For a child, you could say: "If you're hit or something unpleasant happens, it's okay to tell the teacher about anyone. That's an important thing."
