Choosing Between Activity Types
How should I use disability-focused activities and general community activities differently?
It's not which is good or bad—use them differently by purpose and the child's state. Disability-focused activities are places with attentive accommodation where they can perform with security. General activities are places to interact with diverse children and connect with the community. Many families combine both. Choose by "is the child enjoying it, feeling secure, and able to perform?" What fits changes with time and growth, so it's fine not to fix it, but review it as you go.
