Will having a support teacher always beside my child affect friendships?

Support staff are a big help, but with an adult always nearby, friends can find it harder to approach and the child can come to rely on the adult. As measures: the support staff step back like a stagehand, leaving interaction with friends to the children and supporting only when needed, or the staff mediate to widen relationships. Watch, together with the teacher, not only the amount of support but whether relationships among the children are growing.
