My child struggles to say their own name or others' names.

Saying names is a surprisingly hard task combining sound-making, memory, and understanding meaning. Rather than making them say it, let them hear names repeatedly in daily life ("here you go, ○○," "give it to Mommy"). Adding names to photos, a game of raising a hand when their name is called, or putting names into songs also help. Even if they can't say it, choosing a photo or pointing to show "who" is a fine first step. Without rushing, grow it from the stage of understanding by ear.
