How do I talk with the teacher about adjusting seating or classroom stimulation (sound, light, wall displays)?

Rather than just making a request like "please move the seat to the front," adding the observation behind it makes it easier for the teacher to act. For example: "By the window, they easily get distracted by movement outside," or "they're sensitive to loud sounds and freeze up when it gets noisy." On top of that, ask what the teacher is seeing too, and decide on adjustments to try together (seat position, a wall side with fewer displays, using earmuffs, and so on), then look back on it a few weeks later — this "experimenting together" stance works well.
