How can we use the same visual supports at home and at school?

Using similar pictures, words, and step sequences across home and school can make expectations easier to recognize in different places. Photograph a visual schedule that works at home and share it with the teacher; ask the school to share the supports that work there. Agree on a small set of consistent symbols and update them together when routines change. The aim is not to decide which setting has the “correct” method, but to give the child familiar, understandable cues.
