HugMap FAQ
Under-responsiveness & Sensory Play (Spinning, Bumping)

My child seems insensitive to pain, heat, and cold

Children whose senses are on the duller side may not have their injuries or fevers noticed. Not crying after a fall doesn't necessarily mean they're fine. Cover for this with systems that don't rely on the child speaking up—check their body regularly during bath time, and on hot days set water breaks and rests by the clock. If injuries happen frequently, please mention that at medical visits too.
