Sensitivity (Sound, Touch, Picky Eating)
My child dislikes clothing tags or certain fabrics
A strong aversion to tags, seams, or certain fabrics is a common form of tactile sensitivity. Forcing them to wear it to get used to it tends to backfire, so first adjust the environment: cut off tags, turn socks inside out, or choose fabrics your child finds comfortable, like cotton. If the clothes they can wear are so limited that it disrupts daily life, see an occupational therapist.
