Sensitivity (Sound, Touch, Picky Eating)

My child intensely hates nail trimming, haircuts, and toothbrushing

For a child with touch sensitivity, nail trimming and haircuts can go beyond "ticklish" to feel closer to pain. Go little by little with this flow: (1) warn them in advance; (2) do short bits at a time in a spot they can see; (3) touch with firm pressure (lighter touches resonate as more overwhelming); and (4) follow with a favorite activity. Cutting nails while they sleep is a perfectly good strategy too.
