HugMap FAQ
Assessment, Support & When to Start Therapy

Why is early intervention important, and when should I start?

It's because the younger, more flexible brain of infancy and early childhood tends to respond well to thoughtful play and interaction. Rather than "training," the heart of early intervention is raising the quality of the everyday holding, playing, and talking you already do. Local child development support and parent-child classes can often be consulted and used without waiting for a confirmed diagnosis.
