My child won't listen / gets angry quickly

In early childhood, it's only natural that self-regulation is hard. The frontal lobe, which handles self-regulation, keeps developing into the twenties. Take it step by step: put their feelings into words for them, teach calming methods, and start with short waits.
Trying to move them by force tends to make them freeze up. Letting them know what's coming next, or giving them a choice, can help them move along smoothly.
