Difficulty distinguishing certain colors

If your child has trouble distinguishing red from green, or blue from purple, they may have color vision characteristics (color vision deficiency). This is seen in about 5% of boys. If it is not causing problems, there is no need to worry, but consult an eye doctor if you are concerned.
