Running, Jumping & Stairs

My child can't jump

Jumping requires complex coordination: crouching down, pushing off the ground with the feet, and springing up with both feet at the same time. Rather than trying to teach jumping all at once, first let your child experience the "crouch → stand" bending-and-stretching movement through play.
