Eating (Spoon & Spills)
What if my child spills food frequently?
Spilling is expected while a child is learning. Use a stable, deeper bowl, a non-slip mat, and an easy-to-clean eating area so practice can continue without pressure. Adapted dishes and supportive seating may improve success. Stay calm and help only as much as needed; the aim is safe participation and growing independence, not a perfectly clean meal.
