When your child only plays alone

Being able to get absorbed in solo play is also a sign of growing concentration. Start with "parallel play," where an adult copies the same activity alongside them, and slip in small exchanges like sharing objects back and forth. Playing with other children is a high bar, so it's plenty to wait until two-person play with an adult is comfortable first.
