When my child forgets quickly
For children who struggle with remembering things by ear, add visual cues (photos, picture cards, pointing). When you think of it as "not that they can't remember, but that they're short on cues to recall," ideas start to appear. The trick with repetition is to do it in the same situation with the same words.
