When your child is easily distracted
Reduce visual and sound distractions. Keep only what's being used on the table, turn off the TV, have them sit facing the wall, and so on. Bring out one toy at a time, and put it away before moving on to the next. A short attention span is natural in itself, so the first step is to reduce the sources of distraction in the environment.
