Using Tools (Crayons & Scissors)

If pressure is too light or too heavy

Start with crayons or water-based markers that show color even with light pressure. For a child who presses too lightly, lay a large sheet of paper on the floor and do big drawing using the whole arm to learn how to apply force; for one who presses too hard, experiencing pressure control through clay or finger stamping will gradually even things out.
