Using Tools (Crayons & Scissors)
If your child grips the crayon in a fist
A fist grip is a natural way to hold at this stage. Use tools that make it easier to move toward a proper grip, such as thick crayons or triangular-barreled pencils. For now, let them fully enjoy scribbling first; there's plenty of time to fix the grip once their fingertip strength develops.
