When your child can't thread beads

Start with play that threads large-holed rings onto a thick rod. Stiffening the tip of the string (by wrapping it with tape, etc.) makes it easier to thread. Since it's an advanced task where each hand does a separate job, it's fine to go without rushing, in the order of rod-threading → thick string → thin string.
