When your child can't turn the pages

Start with a thick-paper picture book (a board book), and lift the edge of the page to be turned a little. The trick is to let your child do just the final push, so they experience "it turned!" Turning thin paper is an advanced fingertip job, so thick paper is plenty for the time being.
