Putting In, Stacking & Shape Sorting

When your child immediately knocks things down

Knocking things down is real play too—your child is learning the cause-and-effect that "pushing makes it fall." Enjoy the "crash!" together. Start by dividing roles, with the grown-up stacking and your child knocking down, and before long, invite them onto the stacking side too: "put just one on top, then knock it down."
