When your child can't let go over the target spot
Start with a box that has a large opening, and use "touching the rim, then letting go" as the cue. A container that makes a clink or plop sound makes "it went in!" easy to recognize, which fuels the desire to do it again. Aiming accuracy improves right along with the number of successful experiences.
