Grasping, Holding & Releasing

When my child drops things right away

Start with light objects of an easy-to-grip thickness (a gauze ball, a thick ring, etc.). If it's thick enough to be wrapped in the whole palm, it's easier to hold. If the gripping strength itself is weak, you can build it up in a fun way with a towel tug-of-war game.
