Speaking (Words & Sentences)

What if my child's words don't connect into sentences?

Even if it isn't a full sentence, it's fine as long as the desire to communicate is growing. Rather than correcting grammar, aim to grow vocabulary through daily life. When you connect the words your child said and reply back as a sentence, like "shoes, on, and out we go," the shape of sentences gradually builds up in their ears.
